The Merino Motor Inn offers quality refurbished and modernised accommodation in St George for all types of travellers.
Fine dining in our Merino Restaurant which is open Monday- Friday or room service is available.
All rooms have TV microwave , and free Wi-Fi internet . All rooms have queen sized beds and full ensuites.
When is Checkin/Checkout
Checkout is 10am unless arranged otherwise

Check-in Instructions
Reception is open from 8am until 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30 am to
7.30 pm Sat & Sun includes Public Holidays.
Reception is closed between 10 am until 2 pm with check-in available after 2 pm.
Guests arriving after 7.30 pm are asked to contact Reception prior to arrival to organise their check in.
Guests leaving prior to 8 am are asked to settle their account the night before.
A small fee applies may apply to some credit card transactions.
Getting Here
The Merino Motor Inn is located at 76-78 Victoria St which is the main street of St George.
We are the closest motel to all the local supermarkets, shops and cafes.
Parking
Car parking is available in the front of each unit.
Some undercover parking is available.
Extra parking is available for trucks, trailers and buses.
Things To Do
St George is situated on the Balonne River. Travellers can enjoy a scenic walk along the river or partake of the fitness stations that are along the walkway.
Visitors can also visit the Riversands Winery for some wine tasting or sample the popular jams and chutney. The Unique Egg features a collection of hand carved illuminated emu eggs with over 150 eggs on display.
Business Facilities
For the working traveller we offer facsimile, photocopying and printing services.
We also have a conference room available with a whiteboard and television for all your presentation needs.
Terms and Conditions
A valid credit card must be provided at time of booking. All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking in a room will incur a $500 cleaning fee being applied to your credit card.
Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum so as to not disturb others. Guests who make excessive noise so as to disturb others may be charged for not only their accommodation charges but also the guests who were disturbed.
